How do you find a house to buy?

Looking for a house usually starts on the Internet. Sites such as Funda, VBO and Dimo offer the houses of your choice. They also provide more information for when you see a nice house for sale somewhere in a street. It pays to know in advance exactly how much moneyyou have to spend.
When you think that you have found a suitable house, then make an appointment to visit it. If after your first visit you are still in doubt, then plan a second visit. As soon as you have decided to buy the house, then you should start negotiating the price. If at that moment you are the only one who is interested in buying the house, the price tends to go down. If more people are interested, the room to negotiate is bound to be limited.
If necessary, an estate agent can provide assistance in your search, your visits and negotiations.
