Point system

The landlord and the tenant must agree on the rent. A point system or housing assessment system has been created to check whether the rent is a reasonable one. This enables you to assess the maximum rent for a room. Apart from the 'basic' sum, the rent often also consists of service charges. Clear agreements should be made about this, too. If things are not clear or if there is a disagreement about the value of the room, then contact the Rent Assessment Committee.

With the aid of the brochure 'Huren van een woning 2009 - 2010' (Assessment/point system for independent accommodation) you can work out the number of points.

Different points are given to different rooms for each facility (non-independent housing). You can work out the number of points for a room with the aid of the 'Huur en verhuur van kamers' (Renting and Renting out rooms) brochure.

Waarom staat de link naar de puntentabel niet in het artikel? Dat zou veel zoekwerk schelen.

Hoi Tim, dank voor je suggestie. We hebben linkjes naar de brochures toegevoegd.
